Overview

Australian Marine Ecology is well equipped and resourced for most types of coastal habitats and investigations and some shelf investigations. Our facilities include:

• scientific diving teams and quantitative survey equipment;
• underwater vehicles including ROV and AUV;
• underwater video systems for mapping, abundance surveys and size measurements;
• acoustics and loggers; and
• surveyed vessel for coastal diving, ROV, AUV and instrument deployments.

Our laboratory has wet and dry facilities and the offices are fully equipped for data processing, analysis, reporting and presentation.
